Ofc ya want, and even if you don't you're clearly mistaken and therefore I'll share the pictures anyways

First, context.

Went to Sintra, this small village near Lisboa. It's a historical city, with lots of monuments ranging from all periods of history. But most importantly, it's surrounded by the Sintra mountain, a densely wooded area. Mix the unique views, stories and the whole range of architectural styles, it's easy to understand why people place in it an aura of mystery and magic.

So I went there but in specific to Quinta da Regaleira, a old villa built in between late XIXth and early XXth centuries by a rich dude who was a massive fan of everything occult. So he commissioned his gardens to be filled to the brim with strange places, symbolic structures and whatever symbols you could add. It worked, this place is heavily connected to the freemasons and other similar groups.

Interesting facts about Sierra Leone

Hello, desculpa estar a chatear mas como já te vi a falar sobre Sintra um monte de vezes achei que se calhar podias saber: vi agora no site que entrada nos monumentos sob gestão dos parques de sintra é gratuita aos domingos, mas para visitar o interior do palacio da pena é preciso reservar data e hora, e portanto é preciso comprar bilhete. O que é que eu não estou a apanhar? Sou eu q sou totó ou alguma coisa não encaixa?

Eles fazem isso porque a Pena é absolutamente caótico. É uma forma de garantir que os portugueses podem usufruir do bilhete grátis ao domingo, porque de outra forma garanto-te que a maioria não conseguia chegar lá. Além de que, se não estou enganada, a Pena é o único palácio da Parques Sintra que requer mesmo comprar o bilhete de véspera, mas não sei se é assim 100%

Pra teres a noção, há time-slots de entrada (9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, etc... e toda a gente tem um time slot) mas os bilhetes das 9:00 até às 10:00 só uma parcela está disponível para compra. Existe uma porção dos bilhetes dessas time-slots que é alocada para empresas porque embora o zé comum possa comprar na véspera ou até meses antes, as empresas não podem, têm de comprar os bilhetes dos clientes no próprio dia. Para assegurar, a Parques Sintra aloca uma estimativa de bilhetes para essas empresas, e o que sobrar é o que é vendido ao povo. Daí que, por vezes, nem todos sao vendidos e talvez nessa ocasião consigas comprar à porta, mas isso é esquema de NUNCA confiar.

Uma das empresas pra que trabalho é infame entre todas as outras empresas porque eles sozinhos ocupam o slot das 9:30 inteiro. Já trabalhei com empresas que tinha forçosamente de comprar para as 10:00 porque a minha deixava zero para os restantes (e quem vai à Pena com regularidade sabe de quem falo porque as putas das carrinhas estão espalhadas pela serra tipo baratas).

Por isso ya, é mesmo uma forma de eles conseguirem assegurar que as pessoas a quem os domingos grátis são dirigidos conseguem mesmo usufruir disso. Não tens o mesmo problema na Regaleira (se bem que aí tens uma fila do caralho), nem no Paço da Vila e muito menos em Monserrate.

Imagina que o Emmanuel vem a Portugal e tu és a guia dele. Que partes de Portugal lhe mostras? Que gastronomia o levas a comer?

Pergunta interessante. Ele já veio a Lisboa em visita privada com a Brigitte, por isso iria excluir a capital. Mas dava um passeio até Sintra! No topo da minha lista, sempre, Porto! Zona ribeirinha para comer uma francesinha e uma visita à livraria Lello! (Já que ele gosta tanto de futebol, até o podia levar ao Dragão). Sem esquecer um passeio de barco pelo Douro. E depois sem dúvida tantas outras cidades, cada uma com a sua beleza. Serra da estrela (ele gosta de neve), Fundão (as cerejas!), Guarda (Passadiços do Mondego! Sem dúvida que toda aquela natureza lhe ia fazer bem para descansar a mente!), Évora, Beja, Aveiro, a “Veneza Portuguesa” (comer uns ovos moles!), Manteigas (ele gosta de queijo, ia adorar), Óbidos (a bela da ginjinha). Como não podia deixar de ser, a zona de praia algarvia, especialmente Lagos.

Em termos de Gastronomia, fui dando algumas indicações enquanto mencionava algumas cidades. Não sou propriamente imparcial mas acho a cozinha portuguesa uma das melhores do mundo! Não ia deixar de lhe dar a provar o belo do cozinho à portuguesa, feijoada, tripas à moda do Porto (pessoalmente não gosto), bacalhau, uma boa sardinhada, polvo à lagareiro, etc etc E depois, toda a variedade louca de doces conventuais de comer e chorar por mais que temos. E tudo acompanhado com um belo vinho português es de alguma quinta do Douro ou alentejano, e um bom vinho do Porto!

E no final, ou a Brigitte não vinha, ou ela ia-me matar hahaha

Jour 7: Sintra

Nous sommes toujours à Lisbonne mais nous avons pris le train ce matin pour passer la journée à Sintra, un village situé dans les collines de la Serra Sintra. Il y a beaucoup à voir si on a le mollet bien en forme ! Il y a toujours possibilité de prendre des navettes, mais puisqu'on aime marcher, on a tout fait à pied avec une chaleur de 34 degrés...ouf!

Nous avons eu le temps de visiter deux endroits classés au parrimoine mondial de l'Unesco.

Après le lunch, nous avons continué notre ascension vers Le palais National de Pena. Un véritable château de contes de fée!

Le palais est entouré d'un somptueux parc qui permet de voir en haut d'une autre montagne les ruines du Palais des Maures datant du moyen-âge et l'impressionante muraille. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de la visiter cependant.

Nous avons aussi visité l'intérieur. Il a été habité par la famille royale pendant plusieurs années et la plupart du mobilier y est toujours.

Produtores recebem mais com uso de queijo Serra da Estrela em pastéis

Um terço da produção de queijo Serra da Estrela certificado acaba no interior dos pastéis de bacalhau comercializados pelo grupo empresarial Valor do Tempo, que optou por pagar mais aos pastores pelo leite que está na sua origem.

Tiago Quaresma, administrador do Valor do Tempo, disse, em entrevista à agência Lusa, que o grupo adquire anualmente 50 toneladas de queijo Serra da Estrela com Denominação de Origem Protegida (DOP), obtido a partir de leite cru de ovelha, da raça Bordaleira.

O destino final deste queijo é a Casa Portuguesa do Pastel de Bacalhau, que vende anualmente dois milhões deste tradicional produto português.

Segundo Tiago Quaresma, o leite do queijo Serra da Estrela é hoje mais bem pago aos pastores e também recebem mais as conserveiras da Murtosa, alguns pescadores e as enchedeiras de filigrana, setores em que o grupo adquiriu empresas.

A aposta nestes produtos que "honram e dignificam Portugal" tem resultado na sua revitalização, da famosa sardinha em lata ao pastel de bacalhau com queijo Serra da Estrela, passando pelas queijadas de Sintra ou a filigrana.

Tiago Quaresma disse à agência Lusa que tudo começa na base e que, por isso, o grupo optou por pagar mais a quem está onde tudo começa.

"Se for para serem remunerados como têm sido os pastores, os pescadores, as mulheres conserveiras ou as enchedeiras (filigrana), mais vale que estes postos de trabalho se percam", afirmou.

Isto porque, segundo disse, há remunerações nestes setores que, em algumas situações informais, são até abaixo do ordenado mínimo nacional (760 euros).

"Como é que calculamos o salário de um pastor, que tem de trabalhar 365 dias do ano, porque não pode ter fins de semana, nem folgas, nem férias, porque os animais têm sempre que sair todos os dias" e cujo "trabalho começa às cinco da manhã e termina às nove da noite", questionou.

E respondeu: "Se somarmos as horas todas e dividirmos o que ele recebe, garantidamente estamos a falar de valores abaixo do salário mínimo".

"Há pastores que vendem o leite abaixo de um euro por litro, mas falemos também das enchedeiras da filigrana, a receberem cinco euros por peça" ou do "salário mínimo pago na indústria conserveira de forma transversal, ao que é pago aos pescadores que, a exemplo dos pastores, se forem contabilizadas as horas todas, provavelmente já estamos abaixo do salário mínimo. Isto não tem lógica económica".

O projeto que dirige pretende demonstrar que atrás de um produto há uma história que justifica o preço pedido.

"Uma vez percebida esta história, o cliente invariavelmente, e quase com 100% de sucesso, fica automaticamente predisposto a pagar um valor adicional sobre aquele produto", adiantou.

O passo seguinte é redistribuir o valor pela cadeia, mas o empresário esclarece: "Nós não redistribuímos pela cadeia por caridade. (...) A economia social não é distribuir as migalhinhas que sobram e fazer quase ação social junto dos pastores e dos pescadores e das enchedeiras. É exatamente o contrário, a única razão pela qual é possível vender ao valor que vendemos é porque estão eles na base".

O empresário garante que a solução passa por "pagar melhor na base" e que atualmente, todos os que trabalham para o grupo "ganham mais".

"Quando entrámos nisto começámos a pagar às queijarias 18 euros o quilo, quando o padrão do mercado das grandes superfícies rondava os 13 euros por quilo", contou.

E acrescentou: "Aquilo que pusemos como condição foi que os pastores fossem ressarcidos nos dois euros por litro que isso sim é muito importante, porque é o patamar a partir do qual justifica toda aquela dureza e o inverno da serra".

"É preferível fazer para nós só um quilo do que três quilos para terceiros", referiu, concluindo: "As pessoas têm que viver com mais dinheiro no bolso".
